Halo

This is a recent addition. I've loved video games, but I started playing Halo in 2012ish. Since then I have played all the mainline games, watched the movies and TV Show, and read some of the books. I'm weird and think the best game is a toss up between Halo's 4 and 5.

Scotch

Around 2016 my family started making trips to Scotland and that was it, I became a scotch drinker. Springbank is probably my favorite, but honestly I'm happy to try anything; even other lesser whiskies like bourbon.

Star Trek

This is my favorite sci-fi. It's just so optimistic; and when it's not, it works like a mirror. Lower Decks is the best, Deep Space Nine or Strange New Worlds are my favs, and The Next Generation is my first love.

Kindle

In 2010 I was looking to upgrade my career and applied to Amazon on a whim because I really liked my Kindle. I got a hired and worked on the ingestion pipeline for managed publishers and eventually built out the ability to bundle series together.

NCSU

I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. When it came time for college NCSU was the natural choice. I graduated in '03 with a degree in Philosophy. After that I was married and had a kid and quickly realized I need a degree that was employable; so I got a Computer Science degree in '07.

AWS

My most recent software engineering adventure is in AWS Organizations. More partitions, more scalability, and more features is the name of the game.
